Happy Father's Day!

We had a great weekend celebrating Father's Day. We had just found out we were having a BOY (Woohoo!!!) so we called both our dads to tell them the news and just had fun talking about boy names and remembering our own childhoods with our dads. Jared got some cards from the girls and a funny t-shirt and some grilling accesories from me which he used to make us yummy steak for dinner.

Jared is a great dad to Abbie and Leah and I love that he is always willing to spend time with them. They love being with him and know that they'll get to eat yummy food and make big messes when he is with them. He isn't afraid to get down on the floor and play with them or wrestle or throw them around onto the couch (which I'm always saying "Be careful, be softer, slow down, etc.) They love it though and I think it's great that they can have fun and play rough with Daddy and get the softer side of things from me. I knew he would be a great dad early on in our dating days when I saw him playing with his nieces and nephews and knew that I wanted someone like that to be the father of my children.
