Parades, Fireworks, and lots of Red, White, and Blue

We had a great 4th of July weekend! It was perfect weather so we took advantage of it and went to our church pancake breakfast, the parade downtown, and then had a barbeque with friends that evening and did fireworks afterward in our driveway. It was an awesome day!

Leah holding the flag. I love this picture!Abbie and Leah loved the popsicles and candy they gave out...
But soon had a meltdown from all the sugar!
Waiting for our Yam Fries from Seva after the Parade! Yummy!
Abbie with her first sparkler...
And watching bigger fireworks with her friends!
Jared and the girls relaxing on the hammock after a great day!

I love those pictures! That party was a blast! And, to answer your question, YES, that was the dress I was working on at your house. And it worked!

Hey Chrissy! Abby and Leah are so dang cute. I love the pic of Abby with the sparkler. What a fun 4th! it wasn't until we were on our way to Stadium of Fire in the evening of the 4th that I realized we could have found a parade to go to which would have been tons of fun, and we forgot about our ward breakfast and activity day! I can't believe how forgetful I am. Oh well. It looks like you guys had tons of fun :).

I just noticed your blog, Christina (this is Angela Hawkins, by the way). How fun to see you and your two cute little girls. Also, I think that the picture of you and your husband at the bottom is HILARIOUS!!!
